I’m a highly experienced personal stylist and personal branding consultant, and make-up artist.

Each client that I work with is unique and so our time together is tailored to meet your needs. Elevating your personal image is a journey – a life enhancing journey, and for some clients this may be a 2-hour 1-2-1 session but for lots of my clients this journey spans many years with regular personal shopping sessions together each year. When we work together, I’m drawing on over 15 years of experience and a vast range of skills, from advising professional women on how to ‘dress for impact’ to fashion styling, as well as creating beautiful make-up looks for my 1-2-1 clients to make-up demonstrations within an intimate workshop to a much larger audience.

My interest in this field first developed whilst working as an Operations Director for a global accountancy firm and in support of their people-proposition I became their in-house Personal Branding Consultant, working with all levels of staff advising them on how to improve their personal brand through the use of non-verbal communication skills. After my stint in London, I left to start a family and pursue my freelance career, establishing my own business, Jane Mather Ltd, in 2007.

My passion is working with women to show you how you can elevate your impact and personal presence through addressing concerns over your personal image; building your self-confidence, through tailored style and make-up advice, and ultimately helping you to achieve your personal goals.

Jane is very easy to get along with and provides excellent tailored advice on colour, styling and personal branding. My customised styling guide never leaves my handbag and it is revolutionising what I buy and making a great difference. Jane agreed to help raise funds for CRUK by leading a The Beauty Consultation and Style Evening which was held at the Buxted Park Hotel. It was a huge success. This event enabled us to raise in excess of £800 for Cancer Research – a fantastic result for this special event. Cancer Research would like to express their massive thanks to Jane Mather who executed a brilliant demonstration – giving the guests lots of information, ideas, and inspiration to go home with! We all now have information to up our game regarding our daily cosmetics routines thanks to watching Jane. It was a professional demonstration executed by a lady with the ability to capture her audience and get them absorbed! Also many thanks to Karen, Jane’s model, who had to endure long gaps in the procedure while Jane answered the many questions put forward by our lady guests. Everyone agreed it was a good evening!
