Amy Ku Redler

My journey into wellness began when I trained in various massage and wellbeing therapies, inspired by my mother’s relief from her arthritic pain when I massaged her joints. Understanding that pain is not just physical but also has psychological effects, I became deeply interested in rehabilitation and pain management.

I specialise in Thai Yoga Massage, Thai Foot Massage, Yoga Therapy, Pilates, Indian Head Massage, and mindfulness for stress and health. With over 30 years of experience, I tailor sessions to meet clients’ needs and stay updated with my training. I am also a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner in schools, offering CBT-based interventions with thought-Full Mental Health in Schools. I hold an MA in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation from SOAS, specialising in Pain Management, and a PGCert in Low-Intensity Psychological Interventions for Children and Young People from the University of Sussex.

I love working with Amy. There is no better way to start the day than with one of Amy’s classes. I leave feeling stretched, refreshed and two inches taller than when I went in. Her gentle and thoughtful approach to the very differing needs and capabilities of those in our class is a delight.

How much do I love Amy and her yoga teaching? It’s hard to put it into words. She has been coming round to teach me and my friends – all of us middle-aged, all of us with age-related creaky joints and other body-glitches – for nearly 20 years. Putting us through our paces involves gentle twisting, bending and stretching, and a lot of thoughtful breathing. It’s just blissful, and we all always feel so much better after we’ve seen her.
